Initial Editing Techniques Research
I did research into Editing techniques (continuous and non-continuous) so that I could extend my knowledge into the subject to make the post-production process easier on myself, also wanting to do this research so when it came to analyzing media I could analyze the visual aspects of it. Smile Video Feedback
To ensure that my video is engaging to my audience, I did a screening in front of a few of my peers so that I could see people's inital reaction to the video. I made a form before the screening so that I could quickly get responses before people forgot the content within the video. It was important for me to get feedback from my peers as I wanted to see what people liked however also what they would change so I could take that into mind before putting submitting my final piece (So I could make small changes whilst editing) Thankfully, all of those who watched my video all felt that the video was appropriate for the client and they felt that if they were in Mind's shoes they would be happy to recieve the product I made. I was happy to recieve this feedback as if the audience felt that the content in my video did, in fact, not contain appropriate content/fit the brief then I would have had to go back and re-record my footage as well as re-do the editing.
