Feedback on Smile Campaign Pitch

To ensure that my video works for both my audience and what the client asked of me, I decided to as for feedback on a pitch I did, explaining why I felt that my video ideas appealed to said client (mind) and the target audience. I then looked back on this feedback to find ways of improving my ideas. By improving my original ideas it meant that the audience will find the video more appealing and it will ensure that the content within the video is actually appropriate for the audience. The more potential problems I could fix thanks to the feedback, the better. I take in the feedback and this ends up influencing my decision making when it came to the making of story-boards and scripts as I now knew what the audience would like and what I shouldnt really include as it wont appeal to my audience and will instead just take up time in my video, potentially causing me to lose the viewers interest. Smile Campaign Pitch

I pulled together my ideas into a pitch and presented them to my peers so that I could get some feedback on what they thought of my ideas, as I wanted their feedback seeing as they were all familiar with the brief. When it comes to actually being in an industry a pitch is important as it allows a company to find investors, attract some potential co-founder or even to recruit new employees. However, essentially I did my pitch to present and fine tune my idea. Smile campaign pitch from KatieLouiseMcCririck1

Audience Profile

I made an audience profile as it is a reliable method of gathering crucial ideas and insights about your general target audience in a way where it is clear and easy to read. It helped me define my audience clearly in a way that it was easy to come back to and clear to read. Audience profile from KatieLouiseMcCririck1

Survey Results and Analysis - Journeys

Initial Audience Research Feedback Form

I made this survey and sent it to my peers to fill out so that I could get an idea of what my audience generally were like when it came to their mental health so I could use this when I was making a generalized view of what my target audience was and who I needed to make my work for. I also found out the audiences hobbies as well as what helps them when they're suffering from low moods as I planned on including things such as these in my product. Initial Editing Techniques Research

I did research into Editing techniques (continuous and non-continuous) so that I could extend my knowledge into the subject to make the post-production process easier on myself, also wanting to do this research so when it came to analyzing media I could analyze the visual aspects of it. I also felt it would give me a better understanding of why directors used the shots they used and whycertain editing techniques are used to have an impact on an audience.
